Woolly Workshop – Stranded Colour Work – FULLY BOOKED

Do you want to learn how to knit stranded colour work (Fair Isle) or do you already know the technique but need more practice? This class is perfect for you. You will learn to knit with one colour in each hand, how to strand the colours correctly, achieve perfect floats, how to read a chart, how to knit in the round and other tricks and tips.
You will get a choice of two patterns to take home.
Date: Tuesday 4th October, 10am – 12.30pm
Tutor: Anniken Allis
Suitable for: Confident basic knitting skills: cast on, cast off, knit, purl
Materials: Small amounts of two colours 4ply, 3.5mm 60-80cm long circular knitting needles OR Small amounts of two colours DK yarn, 4mm 60-80cm long circular knitting needles. Knitting notions (scissors, sewing needle, stitch markers)
Cost: £17
All our workshops are at the Liskerrett Community Centre this year. Their Hub Café serves delicious vegetarian food at affordable prices – why not treat yourself to lunch while you’re there.
