St Keyne, named after a 5th century Saint, has a well where newly weds raced to take the water. The first one there would be the dominant in the marriage!
Sunday 27th April
9.30am Short Morning Service at Church
10.00 to 10.15 Race, walk or drive down lane to the Well
10.15 Renewal of Vows ceremony
Afterwards, Looe Valley Vineyard will be open (free) to visitors.
All welcome, especially any couples wishing to take part in the renewal of vows.
This event is part of the ‘We Are of This Place’, a month-long celebration of the Looe Valleys’ people, history, and landscape covering all parishes between Liskeard and Looe.
