Your Community Woodland Needs YOU!
Highwood is a community woodland for all to enjoy and owned by the Charity ‘Protect Earth’. There are going to be 3 volunteer days to help make Highwood an amazing place for everyone to enjoy. There are jobs for people of all abilities and fitness levels so everyone can join in.
Sunday, 15th September – creating leaky dams to increase water for wildlife
Saturday, 19th October – removing small conifers to allow for natural regeneration of native broadleaved trees and plants to increase biodiversity.
Sunday, 17th November – as October.
Each day starts at 10am, at Looe Mills entrance near the storage container.
