Trevithick Society- Bal Maidens

The Trevithick Society will be holding a talk about Bal Maidens on 12th February at Liskeard Public Hall in the Long Room from 7.30 pm

Bal Maidens – from the Cornish word Bal and English word Maiden, were female workers in the mining industry, of which at least 55,000 were employed. This is a talk produced by Lyn Mayers and given by Tracy Elliott.
