Traditional Boat Building Talk

Traditional Boat Building Talk will be given by Gary Mitchell for The Trevithick Society in Liskeard Public Hall on Monday 9th January from 7.30- 9 pm

From the 1800s, the Mitchell family built first class boats at Port Mellon in Cornwall. Some were owned by the Royal Family. Percy Mitchell was described as “an artist in wood”. Gary Mitchell will tell his story.
