The Birds – Sterts Theatre Company STUDIO SHOW
The Birds, best known as the Alfred Hitchcock movie starring Tippi Hedren is a one act play by Conor McPherson (The Weir-Olivier Award for best play 1999)
Diane, a writer, is trapped in a Cornish cottage on Bodmin Moor during a supernatural event in which birds begin attacking and killing anyone they can reach. Joined by two other survivors, Diane begins to realise that the real danger, perhaps, comes not from outside the door but by something far more dangerous lying within.
