South Bosent – National Garden Scheme Open Day.
This garden has been developed from farmland. The aim is to create a combination of interesting plants coupled with habitat for wildlife over a total of 9½ acres. There are several garden areas, woodland gardens, a meadow, ponds of varying sizes, inc a rill and waterfall. In spring, the bluebell wood trail runs alongside the stream.
Accessibility
Main garden area accessible. No wheelchair access to bluebell wood due to steps.
The garden will be open on –
- Tuesday 13th May – 2pm – 5pm.
- Wednesday 14th May – 2pm – 5pm.
- Tuesday 16th September – 2pm – 5pm.
- Wednesday 17th September – 2pm – 5pm.
Group openings with the Dobwalls Gardens on Friday 13th June, Sat 14th June, Thurs 3rd July, Fri 4th July, Fri 25th Jul, Sat 26th Jul, Fri 8th Aug and Sat 9th August.
Admission – Adults £5, Children free. Home made teas. Cash only.
