Displaying the Christmas Flower Garland from 11th November – 6th January
When the residents of Cotehele first hung a modest, floral, Christmas display in the hall in the 1950s, little did they know how their simple decoration would turn into the magnificent and famous tradition it is today.
The garland is complete, the log fire is burning – join us to admire this 60ft-long masterpiece in the Great Hall until 6 January, 2018 (closed 25 and 26 December) and enjoy a variety of local choirs and groups performing under it. The gardeners grow and dry the flowers on the estate (20,000 to 40,000 depending on the growing season).
