Meet 11 am at the Coastguard Station, Hannafore, West Looe – No ticket required
This is a Free Event during the South East Cornwall Walking Festival. Join Looe Marine Conservation Group volunteers for an afternoon on the coast to the west of Looe. Walk from Hannafore Beach along the South West Coast Path to the secluded Portnadler Bay.
Once on the beach there will be a beach clean followed by a picnic and hopefully the weather will be kind to us and we will be able to have a swim in the clear water off the beach.
Port Nadler is a beautiful isolated beach accessible only by boat or on the cliff path. But by the end of summer, tidal marine debris and plastic and litter left behind by visitors needs to be removed.
The walk starts at 11am outside the Coastguard Station, Hannafore, Marine Drive, West Looe. People will be free to return at their own pace or with the group leader at 3pm.
Bring sturdy footwear, a picnic, drink and swimming costume!
There’s no need to book but we do welcome donations. The event is suitable for all ages but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
