Making Space 4 Nature Orchard Event Liskeard

Come along and spend time learning all about fruit trees. You can graft your own FREE fruit tree to take home, to plant in your own garden or green space.

We will also be tending to the new orchards at Castle Park in Liskeard. We will be pruning, weeding and mulching, please bring gloves if you have them but there will be tools available to share on the day.

The drop in session will run from 10am till 3pm, please meet at the interpretation board in the centre of the site by the playground. There will be two timeslots for the Tree Grafting Workshops from 10am-11am and 12pm-1pm. Maximum group of 10 people – on a first come first serve basis.

From 2pm-3pm there will be a Orchard Care Session – to help look after the new Orchard.

Toilet available at the Scouts Hut. FREE tea and biscuits. Suitable for those aged 14+.
