| £3Event Navigation

This special edition of Live and Later will see us enjoy an evening of spoken word and poetry written to the theme of ‘We Are of This Place’ with performances of poems which were entered into a poetry competition as part of Simon Armitage’s recent Laureate Library Tour. Poems will be read by the poets themselves.
Thursday 10th April at Liskeard Libray, 6pm to 7.30pm. Tickets £3 – book online via Eventbrite. Pre-event dinner also available by advance booking only.
This event is part of the ‘We Are of This Place’, a month-long celebration of the Looe Valleys’ people, history, and landscape covering all parishes between Liskeard and Looe.
Live and Later is a regular monthly poetry night held on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 6pm to 7.30pm at Liskeard Library and this is a Looe Valley Special edition of the event with the theme of We Are of This Place.
Simon Armitage recently visited Liskeard Library as part of his Laureate library tour. To coincide with his visit, we ran a poetry competition, and the 3 winners were lucky enough to perform their poems on the night. We are giving this Live and Later over to all the runners up in the competition, so they all have the opportunity to perform their work.
