Liskerrett Community Cinema - Lunana: Yak in the Classroom

Our community cinema runs on the first Friday of the month so it is easy to remember.

This month the film is Lunana: Yak in the Classroom – a gentle, sweet-natured movie which is the debut feature from Bhutan-born and US-educated film-maker Pawo Choyning Dorji: last year it became the first Bhutanese film to get an Oscar nomination for best international feature.

Numbers are limited to ensure audience members can have more space between groups who have not come together and we are asking if you can book ahead please by phoning the Liskerrett Centre 01579 340347 or emailing [email protected]

Films are shown on the first Friday of the month at 2.30pm and 7.30pm unless otherwise advertised. The matinee screenings are sub-titled.

Tickets £5 on the door (£4 for under 16s) and there is free entry for carers, all are welcome, we provide refreshments at each screening and produce film notes for people who provide us with an email address.
