Liskeard Carnival is BACK – and we want YOU to be a part of the excitement!The streets will be buzzing with colour, music, and celebration on Friday, 19th July, and we’re inviting walkers and vehicles of all sizes to join the official Carnival procession, thanks to full road closures throughout the route.
Start Location: Rapson’s Car Park
Arrival Time: From 4:00 PM
Parade Start: Approx. 6:30 PM (following road closures)

- Carnival Day Schedule:
• 4:00 PM – Procession entries arrive at Rapson’s Car Park
• 5:30 PM – Float & costume judging
• 6:25 PM – Road closures begin in sections
• 6:30 PM (approx.) – Parade kicks off
• 8:25 PM – Roads cleared of vehicles
• 8:30 PM – Roads reopened - CLASSIFICATION OF ENTRIES:
Carnival Royalty (Group or Solo)
Fancy Costume – Walkers Under 10 (Group or Solo)
Fancy Costume – Walkers Over 10 (Group or Solo)
Decorated Cycle, Pram, or Trolley

- Thursday 26th June – Carnival Ball Run 4pm. Entry £1
- Friday 27th June – Pavement Artist outside Webb’s House, 5pm-6pm
- Monday 30th June – Quiz Night at the Public Hall, 7.30pm. £5 per table of up to 4
- Friday 4th July – Carnival Bingo at the Public Hall. £5. Doors open 6.30pm, eyes down 7.30pm.
- Saturday 19th July – Carnival Procession Departs Rapsons car park approx 6.30pm
