Liskeard Beating the Bounds

Beating the Bounds is an ancient custom where members of the community walk around the outskirts of town, usually led by the Mayor and Town Councillors, to familiarise themselves with the town boundaries.

Starting from the B&M car park at 10.30am the walk is approximately 11 miles and is well supported by the Town Council with a traditional bumping of the Mayor
on the milestone. Limited parking is available – please park in the bays furthest away from the store.

Lunch is taken at Treworgey Manor, a car will be available to transport lunches.

Everyone is welcome to join in and participants do not have to complete the whole walk.
