Our planet is under constant threat from external forces like solar flares or meteors. The thought that everything could end in an instant is compelling and can cause us to reflect on our own purpose and place in the universe.

This first full length work by James Wilton Dance will explore the desire to survive and the fragility of our existence, the hard-wired human drive to stay alive despite the inevitability of our ultimate conclusion. The driving physicality of James’ movement style is informed by martial arts and combat and is instantly characterised by super-physical floor work which gives the work a unique dynamic.
