Jazz Café

Liskerrett will be hosting their first ever live jazz session on Friday 17th April. The Hub
Café will be transformed for the evening into The BeBop Hub where local jazz quartet, ‘4 in a Bar,’ will be playing an eclectic mix of Bluesy Jazz tunes to accompany a delicious vegetarian meal prepared by our very own Café host, Cathy Ross.

Local band ‘4 in a Bar,’ from St Germans, are made up of Geoff Clark on Piano/Keyboards & Vocals, Felicity Vernon on Saxophone, John Stubberfield on Bass & Vocals and Ian Latimer on Drums – small set & brushes.

The band play an eclectic mix of songs and instrumental numbers. There will be some very well known songs and some Bluesy Jazzy tunes including Ballads and Bossa Novas. They will be playing from 7pm for a short while before the meal as people are arriving and then again afterwards.

Tickets for the music are just £5.00 a head and there will be a choice of food from the menu. As this is an experiment, the premises will not be selling alcohol on the night, but guests are welcome to bring along their own drinks to accompany the evening’s entertainment.
