Highwood House Open Event

Highwood House is a Grade II listed building in the heart of town, familiar to most Liskeard residents as Parade Discounts which closed its doors nearly 3 years ago. Since then it has stood empty – used temporarily whilst Wetherspoons was being built. It is in an extremely poor state of repair.

Its history has included being a school, a shopping arcade which included Rediffusion and a bargain store, but now it’s time for redevelopment.

The Proposition – to create a vibrant, adaptable space in the centre of Liskeard as well as future proof the state of a historical building within the town.

This is an opportunity to view the ground floor and the space as it is now. And to express your vision for such a space. What would you like to see in Liskeard? At this point there are no restrictions to your imagination – simply bring your ideas.
