Garden Open Day at Pentillie Castle

Pentillie Castle gardens will be open on Monday 1st May 2017, 12pm – 4pm

Explore the 55 acres of woodland gardens this March, with this extraordinarily mild Winter we’ve had, we wonder how Mother Nature will behave this Spring! Why not stretch your legs on the track to the Mausoleum, and learn about the exciting discovery of Sir James Tillie’s hidden vault! Visit the restored kitchen gardens with revamped greenhouses and walls, although we are still lagging behind in getting the beds back to their full glory…. anyone know any keen gardeners looking for an allotment on a grand scale!?

Tickets: £6 entry per person (children under 12 free). No booking required. Plant sale. Refreshments available in the castle. Half price entry for Friends of Pentillie members!

Please wear suitable sturdy footwear. Dogs will be welcome on leads – please clear up after them and use the bins provided.
