Popular village Fireworks Display will return with a bang!
Menheniot’s popular fireworks display is returning this year on Saturday 9th November and is set to be the biggest and best yet, with tickets available now and selling fast!
This year the Farming Bar Man, Matthew Delbridge, is organising the display in connection with Menheniot School Association. Thanks to the kind permission of Mr and Mrs Gillbard, the event will take place in the fields next to Menheniot Cricket Ground, where it has previously been held.
Celebration Pyrotechnics are returning to put on a stunning display from 7:30pm but the evening spectacle will not only be limited to the sky and plenty will also be happening on the ground including children’s entertainment and live music into the night.
The gates will open at 5:45pm and volunteers from Menheniot School Association will be selling hot food and drinks as well as sweet treats and glow sticks, with all profits going to Menheniot Primary School. The Farming Barman will also be providing a bar.
Chloe the Clown will be on hand to entertain younger members of the crowd with her amazing balloon modelling while everybody soaks up the atmosphere before the display and there will be live music from local musician Josh Taylor from 6:20pm.
The spectacular firework display will be followed by more live music when The Pro2cols take to the stage playing tunes that will get everyone singing and dancing until the evening comes to a close at 11pm.
Tickets are available now from Menheniot Spar and are priced at £6 for adults, £4 for children (2-15 years) and under 2s are free. Parking is available.
Full details of the event can be found on Facebook on the Menheniot Fireworks Display event page.
