East Down Barn – National Garden Scheme Open Day

This garden was laid down between 1986-1991 with the conversion of the barn into a home and covers almost ½ acre of east sloping land with stream running north-south acting as the easterly boundary. 3 terraces before garden starts to level out at the stream. Garden won awards in the early years under the stewardship of the original owners.

Accessibility
Some parts of the garden can only be accessed via steps or somewhat steep gradients.

The garden will be open on –

• Sunday 4th May – 1pm – 4.30pm.

Admission – Adults £5, Children free. Home made teas available to purchase. Cash only.

This garden opens for By Arrangement visits from April to 5 June for groups of between 12 and 30. Please contact the garden owner to discuss your requirements and arrange a date for a group or bespoke visit.
