East Cornwall Point-to-Point and Pony Racing - rescheduled

Rescheduled from 23rd February Due to poor weather, now being held on Sunday 8th March. Pony racing at 11am, point to point first race at noon. Entry £10 per person

What is it all about?

The East Cornwall Hunt Point to Point is a horse racing event over a well established course near Liskeard.  Race distances are between 2.5 and 3 miles over brush fences. There are a minimum of six races.

What happens?
The race card gives a list of prospective runners, the horses parade. After the race the winner and placed horses return to the paddock. Awards are presented to the winning owner and jockey.  The racing at the Easter meeting commences with two exiting pony races for those under 16 years of age.

How can you take part?
This point to point race is a great family day out offering the thrill of jump racing. Bookmakers are in attendance for those wishing to bet on the horse they fancy most. There are a number of trade stands and the event is licensed. There are catering facilities on site for most tastes.
