East Cornwall Bach Choir Spring Concert

The East Cornwall Bach Choir spring concert will be held on Saturday, 19^th March at 7.30pm in the lovely St. Martin’s church in Liskeard.

The choir’s conductor Chris Howarth, will direct the choir and soloists in the performance of two glorious musical classics –  Beethoven’s “ Mass in C Minor” and Gerald Finzi’s “Lo, The Full and Final Sacrifice”. We are fortunate to have organist Anthony Trodd to accompany the choir and soloists for this performance. ECBC continues to support and encourage new classical singers and is very pleased to welcome Joseph Hookway, Emma Jungling, Matthew Secombe and Phoebe Smith as the soloists for the Mass. They will also perform solo pieces during the evening.

After many years of very successful music making with the East Cornwall Bach Choir, our conductor, Chris Howarth is moving to pastures new and this evening’s performance will sadly be his last concert with the choir.

This promises to be a wonderful evening of glorious music and we look forward to you joining us.

Tickets cost £12 for adults, £6 for students, children 12 years and under are admitted free of charge. Tickets are available from Liskeard Tourist Information office  – 01579  349148, online at www.ecbc.co.uk and at the door.
