Crocadon Farm Christmas Producer Fair
December 3, 2016 @ 9:00 am - December 4, 2016 @ 3:00 pm
Event Navigation
The very first Christmas Fair at Crocadon took place in 2002 and this year, 2016 will be our last. The many years of Christmas tree sales and Christmas markets have been the Season’s inspiration for the organising team at Crocadon. The courtyard is transformed with the smell of the freshest Fir trees, twinkling lights and hustle and bustle of over 50 market stalls squeezed into the traditional courtyard of recovered farm buildings.
Each year the atmosphere and enthusiasm is overwhelming and generates a contagious excitement for the big day ahead. So for the last time this year the team have pleasure in bringing together a great mix of food and craft stalls full of excellent produce and products, handcrafted by our many talented and award winning stall holders of Devon and Cornwall. An enviable selection of fresh turkey orders to fresh flower & wreath orders, unique gifts and treats for everyone as well as the season’s must haves. Not to mention the fantastic range of locally grown, freshly cut and divinely smelling Christmas trees available in all sizes.
I do believe, this year, if you search among the trees the children will find Father Christmas too! He is a busy man at this time of year so in the gaps when he can’t be with us we have plenty of Carol singers to perform old and new versions of our wonderful Christmas time melodies from The Callington Singers and St Mellion & St Dominic School children’s choir.
And if that is not enough to get you in the Christmas spirit, I am sure Robin from the Calstock Rubber Band will win you over with his cheery accordion. There is hot food from A Perfect Blend SW, hot drinks and tasty bakes in the café along with a real wood fire.
Entry is free with plenty of parking. So put a date in the diary for Saturday 3rd (9-3) and Sunday 4th (10-3) December.
