Crafty Toasty - Cornish Storylines Tea Party

Community art and wellbeing drop in. Free tea, coffee and a toasted sandwich!

Next Crafty Toasty will be transformed into a Cornish Storylines Tea Party with Scary Little Girls! Come and tell us your favourite Cornish stories, myths and legends – true or otherwise!

10am – 1pm at Liskerrett.

Jenny Beare, Bec Applebee and Shazz Andrew are the story gatherers and would love to hear your Cornish tales as they begin their project to create a legacy of our collective community storytelling heritage, from which they plan to create a new archive of Cornish Folklore, a new play and a digital map to keep these stories alive.

‘We would like to collect, preserve and promote Cornish stories. Hearing voices that talk of stories new and old. Come to our free tea party to learn more about the project and tell us your stories.’

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
