Event Navigation
Liskeard and Looe Rotary Club alongside Looe Valley Rotary Club are organising the second Caradon Chestnut Cycle Challenge as part of a series of cycle events organised by Rotary UK in support of prostrate cancer. The ride will take in the delights of the Cornish countryside and will be a true test of strength and character.
There will be a choice of three distance options:
- short : 38km British Cycle Grade 30
- intermediate : 45km British Cycle Grade 40
- long: 87km British Cycle Grade 135
The overall route is quite ‘hilly’, although the first few kilometres around Liskeard are fairly flat it will soon get tough as the route climbs up to Minions and then down to Rilla Mill. The Ride will take place on quiet country roads and will be marshalled and well signposted.
It promises to be a great event and will help the Chestnut Appeal spread awareness in the area and well as raise funds for the charity. For more details, click on the above link.
