Canoryon Lowen in Concert - Liskeard Concert Series

Formed in 2002 under the musical directorship of Nick Hart (Ilewydh Sen Neot), Canoryon Lowen performs music from a very wide repertoire, including classical, church music, rock ballads, spirituals and musicals – from Tallis to Tavener, Beatles to Broadway, and everything in between.

Concerts have included complete works, such as Karl Jenkins’ ‘The Armed Man’, and Orff’s ‘Carmina Burana’, which were performed to high acclaim. As well as local concerts the choir has undertaken four tours, singing in Prague, Venice, Cortina, Florence and Lorient. Among recent projects have been three sell-out performances of the specially commissioned ‘A Daughter’s Tale’ and in 2013 the new work ‘The Midwinter Cantata’
