Big Do In The Field

A great afternoon out for the whole family, a chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones, and to have fun.

Free parking and free entry.

There’s plenty to see and do:

• children’s fancy dress competition
• dog show / competition
• dog displays
• children’s races
• bouncy castle
• barbecue / veggie food / refreshments /  etc.
• cream teas
• ice cream cake stall (donations of cakes welcome – pls bring, or give to Jenny H or Tam H the day before)
• soft play area
• face painting
• outside games
• welly wanging (yes, check, I spelled that right this time!)
• licensed bar
• car-boot (£5 per car – contact here*  for info or to book, or call Jasmina 01208 821223)
• tombola, raffle… indeed, lots of stalls and fun activities…   more details nearer the time…  and some surprises!
• and if we can get helpers to get it up beforehand, we’ll have a yurt…

Meanwhile, in the Jubilee Hall itself, there’ll be Annual Vegetable, Flower and Handicraft Show   –  lots of classes, to appeal to everyone, cooks, gardeners, craft-lovers, photographers…  and this  year includes a special cake-cookery challenge for men!  Please HELP by letting Gill know beforehand (01208 821494) what you’re hoping/planning to bring, so they can plan table layout accordingly.
