Beating the Bounds

Beating the Bounds is an ancient custom where members of the community walk around the town, usually led by the Mayor and Town Councillors, to familiarise themselves with the town boundaries, it is approximately 11 miles in total.

The walk starts from Homebase car park at 10.30am, there is a lunch break at Treworgey Manor and the walk should finish approximately 4.30-5pm. Open to everyone, participants walk at their own risk, children under 12 must be accompanied and dogs on leads are welcome. Transport will be available along the walk for anyone who does not want to complete the full distance.
