Basses Don’t Have to be Boring….A lecture recital with live performances from Jonathan Lewsey & Jonathan Delbridge (including Bottom’s Dream from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and arias and songs of Mozart, Rossini & Vaughan Williams) interspersed with multi media presentation of some of the great Bass singers of the past including Feodor Chaliapine, Boris Christoff & Ivan Rebroff.

The second half of the programme will include songs and scenes from the musicals with iconic performances from the past including Ezio Pinza (Some Enchanted Evening), Paul Robson (‘Ol Man River) & Topol (If I Were a Rich Man). Special Guest Artists TBA!
