A varied festival supported by many local groups from our wonderful community. From the youngest to the oldest, the sportiest to the craftiest there is something for everyone and a warm welcome to all.
Daily (Mon-Sat) – Manna Coffee Shop is open from 10.30am-12.30pm
Thursday 3rd – Children’s Disco – for children in school years 3 to 6, 7-8.30pm, admission £1
Friday 4th – Family Activity Day – open to all the family (children must be accompanied), a time to share together in creative activities and games, 10am-4pm, free
Saturday 5th – Global Family Mission Day – a relaxing craft day, 10am-4pm, £1
Sunday 6th – Community Songs of Praise – come and lift your spirits as you raise your voice with others, 7pm
Tuesday 8th – Illustrated Talk ‘Churchill’s Secret Army’ – 7.30pm
Wednesday 9th – Auction of Promises in aid of Children’s Hospice South West, light refreshments provided by Liskeard WI, 7pm for 7.30pm start
Thursday 10th – Village Life in the 40s – including a wartime tea and a singsong of WW2 favourites, 2pm
Saturday 12th – Table Top Sale, 10am-2pm, £5 per table
Tuesday 15th – Cornish Cookery Demonstration, 10.15am
Thursday 17th – Illustrated talk on the fascinating historical tales of Liskeard with Brian Oldham, 7pm
Friday 18th-Sunday 20th – Flower Festival – a celebration of the life and work of Liskeard Methodist Church, 10am-8pm (12noon to 4pm on Sunday)
Friday 18th – Cellar Cinema – family film for children in school years 3-6, 6.30pm, £1
Tuesday 22nd – Talk on Du Maurier’s Cornwall by Lynn Goold, 7.30pm, adults £2, children £1
Wednesday 23rd – Toy and Model Day – an exhibition of all sorts of toys and models, old and new
Thursday 24th – Kid’s Activity Day – a range of FREE workshops for kids age 7+ including dance, junk percussion, drama and singing. Places are limited so book your place on 07821 270021
