Adam Nightingale will be bringing his wonderful historical comedy storytelling to the atmosphere of the Priory for an evening, come join us for what promises to be a fascinating and hilarious show.
Adam Nightingale is a writer and performer whose subject matter covers movie stars, history, monsters, rogue caterpillars, religion, New Orleans, Norway, Nottingham and Sinbad. He is the author of five nonfiction history books. He has written and performed three-one man shows: Georgian Bloodbath: A Grisly Lecture, The 17th Century Show, and An Evening with Professor Edvard von Goosechaser. Adam is one third of the spoken word musical trio The Fighting Nightingales. He is the writer and presenter of the Hood Free Zone and 17th Century Tales podcasts.
This is a family event on a Pay-What-You-Feel basis which Adam has kindly offered to do for our fundraising for the Priory. Donations can be made on arrival, there is no need to book.
The show will last approx 80 minutes with no interval. We suggest an age guidance of 7yr old minimum due to the mild strong language and references to beheadings, etc, but younger children are welcome at the parents discretion.
