Liskeard Skatepark – Public Consultation
A Public Consultation for the new Liskeard Skatepark will be held on Tuesday 25th February at Liskeard Public Hall from 4pm – 7pm. A chance to share your vision for the new wheeled sports facility in Liskeard with the Betongpark design and construction team. Wheeled sports facility experts will be on hand to speak with you in person and take on board comments for the final design. This meeting will be held in the Emily Hobhouse Room.

This event is now SOLD OUT Enjoy an evening of music and laughter with Johnny Cowling at Liskeard Public Hall on Saturday 15th March at 7.30pm. Tickets £15 to include a pasty and a glass of Asti. There will be a choice of traditional Cornish, cheese and onion and a vegetable pasty suitable for vegans. Beating the Bounds is an ancient custom where members of the community walk around the town, usually led by the Mayor and Town Councillors, to familiarise themselves with the town boundaries and ensure that the Boundary Stones had not been moved. The walk is around 11 miles and all are welcome. In the Royal Charter of 1587 by Queen Elizabeth I, the bounds of the Borough, which continued to the present century, were fixed.
