Liskeard Show

The Liskeard Show is one of the biggest in the South West and has always had a wide selection of high quality entries in the large animal classes. You can also see smaller animals, companion dog show, donkeys, poultry, fruit and vegetables, and flower displays.
The show is open all day from 8am, and is held in several fields at Merrymeet, near Liskeard. The show site is clearly signposted from the A390, the Liskeard to Callington Road.
There are numerous displays; special events; competitions; entertainments; trade stands; fairground attractions and side shows. Marquees are provided for teas; bars; crafts; stalls and for smaller animals and poultry.
The Cornish Food Marquee
This marquee promotes a full range of produce from Cornwall. It also hosts the cookery demonstrations by top local chefs and has a refreshment area.
Homes & Gardens Marquee
This marquee promotes exciting ideas for your home or garden. Last year there were gardening displays, furniture restoration and a portrait photographer.
Shopping & Craft Arcade
A great mix of all types of stalls for you to enjoy. Last year the stalls ranged from face painting to local memorabilia to original paintings.
There is plenty of free car parking, and lots of places to picnic or buy lunch and snacks.
Public Transport
There is a free bus service to and from Liskeard, pick up points are Liskeard Station, The Parade and Luxstowe. The service runs regularly from 9am, the last bus leaves the showground at approximately 6pm.
