Exhibition on King Charles’ Opening of the Building in June 2002
Liskeard & District Museum – Monday 24th April to Saturday 3rd June
To celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III the museum have a mini-exhibition about his visit to open Foresters Hall in June 2002, including the visitors book that he signed.

Screening of the Coronation
Liskeard Royal British Legion, Barn Street – Saturday 6th May, 11am to Midnight
Liskeard Royal British Legion have a full day of entertainment on the day of the Coronation including:
- Showing the Coronation on the big screen
- Mini-quiz – 2pm-3pm
- Afternoon BBQ/Cream Tea (depending on the weather)
- Raffles and Games
- Live Music from Charlie Harris – 8pm-10pm
Come along and celebrate, all welcome.
Mass followed by a Shared Lunch
Our Lady & St Neot Catholic Church – Sunday 7th May at 11am
A shared lunch in the garden following the 11am Mass. (wet weather – it will be in the St Neot room).
Bring a plate of food to share with others of the parish. There is a list in the porch at Liskeard which would be helpful if you were to indicate what type of food you will bring. Otherwise please contact Trish James 07503 378446 or Mary Haslem 07484 390471.
We have chairs, but you might like to bring your own.
Drumhead Service
The Parade – Sunday 7th May at 11am
To reflect on both the Coronation of King Charles III and VE Day Liskeard Royal British Legion will be holding a short Drumhead Service with tribute laying led by the Padre with the Mayor, Town Crier and a small Silver Band ensemble in attendance as well as Branch members being supported by a small number of cadets and uniformed youngsters.
Picnic in the Park
Castle Park – Sunday 7th May, 2pm to 8pm
Liskeard 1st Scout Group, in conjunction with Liskeard Radio, and with the Support of Mayor Simon Cassidy, are pleased to announce this great event.

There will be a Village Tea Party at East Taphouse Community Hall on Saturday 6th May from 4pm – 8pm.
Everyone is welcome to this free event, which will include a buffet, refreshments and a bar.

Pensilva Coronation Craft Fair and Big Lunch
Millennium House – Sunday 7th May 10am – 4pm
Coronation celebrations will take place at the Millennium House, Pensilva on Sunday 7th May.
There will be a Coronation Craft Fair from 10am – 3pm, with many stalls and a raffle, this will then be followed by The Big Lunch. You are invited to bring a picnic (tea and coffee will be made available) and join in a big lunch celebration from 2pm – 4pm.

Boconnoc King’s Coronation Garden Party
Monday 8th May – 12pm – 4pm
Boconnoc are hosting a Coronation Garden Party on Monday the 8th May for this historic moment. Grab a deck chair and join them at the beautiful Boconnoc Estate to celebrate this occasion with colourful activities for all ages.
There will be live music, bring your own picnic or pre purchase the Coronation Cream Tea, an outside bar, fun lawn games, delicious ice cream, table tennis, Croquet, face painting bar, 3-legged-race, egg and spoon race and you can make your own flower crown.
Tickets: Adult £7.50 Child (6-16yrs) £4.00 5’s and under go free

The King’s Coronation Events
Great Trethew Manor Hotel and Riding School 6th, 7th and 8th May.
Great Trethew Manor Hotel and House Riding School are celebrating The Kings Coronation with special coronation themed groom and ride sessions and meals.
On 6th, 7th and 8th May there will be Special Pony Ride sessions with special decorated ponies and Coronation Rosettes. £20 per child.
On Sunday 7th May there will be a Carvery. £10 adults, £6 children.
On Monday 9th May they will be holding an all you can eat buffet. £15 adults, £6 children.

King Charles III Coronation Party
The Caradon Inn – 6th May, 3pm – midnight.
The Caradon Inn will be having a Coronation Party on Saturday 6th May form 3pm to midnight!
There will be love Music, a mini Ale Festival, a Street Party and BBQ and Community Bingo!
